Grantsville’s Jackson Sandberg Scores 5 TDs, Hand Morgan 1st Loss

GRANTSVILLE, Utah – Grantsville quarterback Jackson Sandberg threw the ball for four touchdowns and ran in another in the Cowboy’s regular season finale. The Cowboys gave Morgan their first loss of the season with the outcome.
The Cowboys’ signal-caller scored all five of Grantsville’s touchdowns in their game against the Trojans on Wednesday, October 16.
Grantsville held the Trojans scoreless in the fourth quarter and got a 34-18 victory.

Morgan QB Carter Thackeray threw for one touchdown in the loss. The Trojans also had a touchdown run from Porter Giles.
The Cowboys scored 13 points in the final quarter to seal a victory in their last game of the regular season.
Grantsville completed its regular season schedule with an 8-2 record.
Morgan finished the regular season slate of games with a record of 8-1.
Both squads will find out where their land in the postseason on Saturday, October 19.
