The Utes are currently focused on their big matchup with No. 17 Arizona State this Saturday at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
The game against Cal will mark the third game this season that will have a kickoff time of 8 p.m. MT or later, including the 8:30 p.m. start time to open the season against BYU and their win over Washington State started at 8 p.m.
It’s the third time that Utah will have a game broadcast on FS1 this season, the other two games were at USC and at home against Washington State.
Since joining the Pac-12 in 2011, Utah is 2-2 against the Golden Bears, 2-0 at home and 0-2 in Berkeley, California.
Utah lost the previous matchup 28-23 on the road in 2016. This season, Cal is 4-2 on the season, having lost their last two games after starting 4-0. They will host Oregon State on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. on the Pac-12 Network.
