Ziggy Ansah Punches Football Out, Recovers Fumble For Seahawks

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Seattle Seahawks defensive lineman Ziggy Ansah stripped the football from Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb and recovered the fumble.
Ansah’s forced fumble and recovery came in the third quarter of the Seahawks’ game on Sunday, October 13.
The former BYU DL recovered the ball at the Seahawks 39-yard line with 9:06 remaining in the third quarter.

Ansah’s forced turnover set up a Seattle touchdown drive that put the Seahawks up 25-20.
The former Cougar had two tackles in the game at the time of the fumble.
Ansah was playing in his third game of the season after missing the start of the season due to injury.
He’s recorded 8 tackles and a sack so far in 2019.
Ansah was recently ranked as the tenth best walk-on in college football history by ESPN.

Ansah played college ball at BYU from 2010-12. He recorded 72 tackles. 4.5 sacks, and 1 forced fumble in a Cougar uniform.
He was selected by the Detroit Lions with the fifth overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.
