Taysom Hill Throws, Runs For First Downs Against Buccaneers

NEW ORLEANS, La. – New Orleans quarterback Taysom Hill picked up two first downs for the Saints against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Hill threw for one first down and ran for another.
Hill’s first downs came during the second quarter of the Saints’ home game on Sunday, October 6.
The former BYU QB first moved the chains on an 18-yard strike to wide receiver Michael Thomas. Later in the half, Hill ran the ball for 11 yards.

The former Cougar signal caller rotated with fellow QB Teddy Bridgewater throughout the first half of the Saints’ game vs. the Bucs.
Hill’s connection with Thomas went for 18 yards to the Tampa Bay 42-yard line with 12:53 left in the second quarter.
The second first down came on a QB scramble with 2:22 left in the first half. Hill’s run went for 11 yards to the Buccaneers’ 36-yard line.

The Saints entered the game with a 3-1 record including 2-0 at home. The Bucs traveled to New Orleans with a 2-2 record.
