Jazz Rookie Miye Oni Gets Up High For Alley-Oop From Georges Niang

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz rookie Miye Oni went up high to throw down a pass from Georges Niang for an alley-oop against the Adelaide 36ers.
Oni’s dunk came in the third quarter of the Jazz’s preseason matchup with the 36ers on Saturday, October 5.
The rookie’s basket gave the Jazz an 84-52 lead with 4:48 left in the quarter.

At the conclusion of the third quarter, Oni had posted 9 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 block in 18 minutes of play.
The Jazz led the 36ers 104-63 at the start of the fourth quarter.

Oni was originally drafted by the Golden State Warriors with the 58th overall pick before being traded to Utah on draft night.
He is a product of Yale University. He is the first Ivy League player selected in the draft since 1995.
