Weber State Starts Northern Iowa Game With 73-Yard TD On First Play

OGDEN, Utah – Weber State quarterback Kaden Jenks hit Rashid Shaheed for a 73-yard touchdown strike on their first offensive play of the game against Northern Iowa.
Jenks found Shaheed for the quick points with 12:05 left in the first quarter of the game on Saturday, September 28.
The TD set the tone for Weber State throughout the rest of the game.

The Wildcats led for the remainder of the game and won 29-17 over the Panthers.
Jenks finished the game 19/29 for 219 yards and two touchdowns.
Shaheed added a one carry for 15 yards.
The Wildcats moved to a record of 2-2 on the season.

Weber State’s next game is on October 5 at 3 p.m. against Idaho.
