Former Ute Hits Seahawks’ Coach Pete Carroll In Nose With Pregame Throw

SEATTLE, Wash. – Former Utes linebacker Cody Barton threw a football and hit Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll in the face.
The former Ute accidentally hit his head coach with a football to the nose. Carroll’s nose required some first aid after the hit.
Barton’s throw came during pregame warmups before the Seahawks played the New Orleans Saints.

Carroll appeared to be alright and was on the sidelines for the start of the game.

Barton is a rookie for the Seahawks. He was selected by Seattle in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
The Seahawks have a record of 2-0 on the season.
