Aggies Playing For First Win In 52 Years Against San Diego State

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah State Aggies are playing for their first victory in 52 years over the San Diego States Aztecs.
The Aggies and Aztecs will meet for the 14th time in series history on Saturday, September 21. The Aztecs have won 12 of the games between the schools. San Diego State has won the last 10 games in the series.
The last victory for the Aggies against SDSU came on November 25, 1967. USU came away with a 31-25 road victory.
Utah State has never won against the Aztecs at home. The Aztecs are 8-1 at home against USU. Saturday’s game is in San Diego.

This will be the third meeting between the two teams as members of the Mountain West Conference. San Diego State has won both meetings since 2015. The Aztecs scored more than 40 points in each victory. The Aggies have scored 14 points or less in each of those losses.
The Aggies and Aztecs play at 8:30 p.m. (MDT) on CBS Sports Network. The game is also available on 1280 AM.
