KNOXVILLE, Tennessee – A deep pass from Zach Wilson to Micah Simon set up a Jake Oldroyd field goal to tie the game and sent BYU to overtime against the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday night.
BYU was down 16-13 and needing to convert with 3rd & 6 with 18 seconds to go. The Cougars had the ball on their own 20-yard line.
Wilson took the snap and patiently waited for the play to develop until he found Simon down the sideline for a 64-yard reception.
