PROVO, Utah – Utah defensive back Julian Blackmon intercepted BYU QB Zach Wilson early in the fourth quarter Thursday night and took the pick all the way for a touchdown. The pick-six is Blackmon’s second one in as many against the Cougars.
The Blackmon interception for a touchdown happened with 12:25 left in the fourth quarter.
The Wilson interception was his second of the game. Both of his INTs were pick-sixes by the Utes. The first occurred in the second quarter by former Cougar and current Utah linebacker Francis Bernard.

The pick-six was Utah’s ninth in the rivalry game since 2010. BYU’s last pick-six against the Utes was in 1987.
