Utah Basketball Receives Commitment From Four-Star Forward

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The University of Utah basketball program picked up a big commitment for the 2020 season with four-star forward Caleb Lohner.
Lohner is the 20th ranked small forward in the country and the second best player in the state of Utah, according to 247.
The 6’6,” 200 pound forward is playing for Wasatch Academy in Mount Pleasant, Utah.
He announced his decision to play for the Utes on Twitter.

Lohner began his high school career with Flower Mound high school in Flower Mound, Texas. He averaged just four points per game as a freshman before posting 17.8 points per game as a sophomore in 2017-18.
He received offers from Baylor, BYU, Kansas State, TCU, Texas and Texas A&M.
This season, Utah has a very young roster with Marc Reninger as the only senior and junior college transfer Alfonso Plummer is the only junior. Larry Krystkowiak has four sophomores returning and will bring in 11 freshmen.
