CHICAGO, Ill. – Utah Royals FC couldn’t get a goal as they fell on the road to the Chicago Redstars 2-0.
The Royals were on their heels defensively as goalkeeper Nicole Barnhart made a season-high six saves.
In the fifth minute, the National Women’s Soccer League leading goal scorer Sam Kerr found the back of the net.
Utah’s best chance in the match to get a goal was in the 72nd minute when Amy Rodriguez fired a shot to the top-left corner of the goal, but was denied by Chicago.
