Damian Lillard To Host Weber State’s Alumni Classic

OGDEN, Utah – Weber State announced that former point guard Damian Lillard will host the Wildcats men’s basketball Alumni Classic on August 24 at the Dee Events Center.
The evening will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a shooting stars contest and a three-point contest before the alumni game.
It will be the third time that Weber State has hosted this event, the other two times were in 2015 and 2017.
Lillard is scheduled to compete in the shooting stars contest and the three-point contest, while also serving as one of the coaches for the alumni game.
The Weber State Men's Basketball Alumni Classic, hosted by @Dame_Lillard, is set for August 24th.

Other former Wildcat basketball players to participate include Harold Arceneaux, Jermaine Boyette, Jimmy DeGraffenried, David Patten, Kyle Bullinger, Ryan Cuff, Pat Danley, John Hamilton, Nick Hansen, Darin Mahoney, Frank Otis, Steve Panos, Walt Tyler and Chris Woods.
The full roster will be announced later.
Lillard recently withdrew his name from the United States basketball team roster for the FIBA World Cup in order to focus on the upcoming NBA season.
