Oni, Brantley Help Jazz Beat Spurs In SLC Summer League Finale

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz wrapped up the Salt Lake City Summer League on Wednesday with an 84-81 win over the San Antonio Spurs.
Second round draft pick Miye Oni was red hot to start the game with 11 points in the opening quarter on 4-for-4 shooting from the field and 3-of-3 from downtown. He finished with 17 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals.
The Jazz shot 55 percent and held the Spurs to 33 percent shooting in the first quarter to take a 27-13 lead.

Brantley had 11 points in the first half before scoring 5 points in the second half to finish with 16 points and 6 rebounds.
Tony Bradley and Justin Wright-Foreman did not play as they were resting after playing back-to-back games on Monday and Tuesday.
Willie Reed recorded 14 points and 16 rebounds, while both Stanton Kidd and Austin Hollins had 11 points apiece.

Utah hit 11-of-31 from downtown.
Lonnie Walker IV scored 19 points to lead the Spurs.
The Jazz finished Salt Lake City Summer League with a 2-1 record. They will head to Las Vegas with the other 29 NBA teams and face the Okahoma City Thunder on Saturday at 1 p.m. on NBA TV.
