SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz won 50 games during the regular season and one game in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. It’s hard to pick just one victory that was unanimously above the rest.
It’s the second season in the last three years that the Jazz have won 50 games or more in a season.

On December 6 at Vivint Smart Home Arena on a nationally televised game on TNT, the Jazz created drama. Rudy Gobert picked up his second foul just three minutes into the game. On his way to the bench, he smacked a bottle that was on the scorers table. That led to him getting ejected.
Derrick Favors stepped up in a big way with 24 points and 10 rebounds. Joe Ingles added 18 points and Dante Exum chipped in 15 points off the bench. Donovan Mitchell had just 6 points. For the Rockets, James Harden shot 5-for-16 from the field for 15 points. The Jazz beat the Rockets 118-91.

4. Jazz Set Franchise Three-Point Record, Beat Spurs By 34
Just two days before the Rockets game, Utah would face the San Antonio Spurs at Vivint Smart Home Arena. It was Kyle Korver’s first home game since returning to Utah via trade. The Jazz beat the Spurs 139-105 and set the franchise record for most three-pointers made in a game with 20. 10 players combined for those 20 three-pointers, led by Donovan Mitchell with 4, Joe Ingles and Kyle Korver with 3, Ricky Rubio, Jae Crowder and Royce O’Neale with 2 each and Georges Niang, Thabo Sefolosha, Dante Exum and Raul Neto all connecting on one triple.

3. Mitchell Scores 24 In Second Half Rally vs. Detroit
On January 5 in Detroit, Utah trailed the Pistons by 18 points at the end of the first quarter. The Jazz cut the lead to five by halftime after a strong second quarter. Mitchell scored 24 of his 26 points in the second half as Utah outscored the Pistons 62-52. On Mitchell’s last shot in the final minute, he pointed at a heckling fan and told him it was his fault and that he started this (the Jazz run).

The Orlando Magic were in town on January 9 and had a 17-point lead at halftime. Utah outscored Orlando 32-12 in the third quarter and 28-18 in the fourth quarter to pick up a 106-93 win. Donovan Mitchell poured in 33 points, while Joe Ingles contributed 16 points and 7 assists.

On March 2 in Salt Lake City, Donovan Mitchell and Giannis Antetokounmpo went toe-to-toe as the Bucks had a 5-point lead entering the fourth quarter. The Jazz outscored Milwaukee 42-33 in the final period to collect the 115-111 win. Mitchell scored a career-high 46 points, while Antetokounmpo had 43 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assists. Mitchell had help from Derrick Favors, who scored 23 points and gathered 18 rebounds on 10-of-12 shooting from the field. Khris Middleton chipped in 29 points for the Bucks.
