PORTLAND, Ore. – Former Weber State guard Damian Lillard is doing everything he can to avoid elimination in the Western Conference Finals. He hit a deep three-pointer after he crossed over Alfonzo McKinnie.
Lillard’s triple gave him 17 points on the night and the Portland Trail Blazers a five point lead with 9:39 left in the third quarter.
He is dealing with a separated rib that he sustained in Game 2 of the series with the Golden State Warriors.

The Oakland, California native had 12 points in the first half of Game 4 as the Blazers are trying to avoid the four-game sweep to the two-time defending champions.
To that point, Lillard was shooting 6-for-10 from the field, including 3-of-7 from downtown to go with his eight assists.
Lillard is playing in his first conference finals series of his career.
