Gobert Swaps Jersey With French Soccer Star Kylian Mbappe

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Even though he’s not in season currently, Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert still managed to have a jersey swap with another famous athlete.
While back home in France, Gobert swapped autographed jerseys and took a photo with Paris Saint-Germain F.C. star Kylian Mbappe.
In his social media post of a photo of the two French pro athletes, Gobert wrote the caption, “Continue à tout casser frérot,” which translates to “Continue to break everything, brother,” in English.

Mbappe, a Paris-born soccer sensation, is one of the top players in the world at the young age of 20. His move from Ligue 1 club Monaco to PSG in 2018 was worth €180 million, the second-biggest transfer fee of all time.
Of course, Gobert is no slouch either. He recently finished his sixth NBA season the Jazz and was named a finalist to receive what could be his second consecutive Defensive Player of the Year award. Gobert also expanded his offensive game this past season, setting a career-high in points per game and registering an NBA-record 306 dunks.

Gobert will find out on June 24 if he’s earned another Defensive Player of the Year honor at the NBA Awards ceremony in Los Angeles, California. Oklahoma City’s Paul George and Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo were named the other two finals for the award.
