Bees’ Luis Rengifo Blasts Inside The Park Homer

RENO, Nev. – Salt Lake Bees infielder Luis Rengifo smashed an inside the park home run against the Reno Aces to give the Bees an 8-3 lead over Reno in the eighth inning.
Rengifo, one of the top prospects in the Los Angeles Angels organization, took a 0-2 pitch off the tall centerfield wall at Greater Nevada Field, and motored around all the bases while the Aces struggled to field the ball off the bounce.
For the Bees, it was the 18th inside the park home run in team history.
Salt Lake went on to win the game 9-3 for the Bees’ third straight victory.
