SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The first round of the 2019 NBA Playoffs has concluded and the quest for a championship continues for the eight teams that advanced out of the first round.

In the Western Conference, the Golden State Warriors eliminated the Los Angeles Clippers in six games, while the Houston Rockets beat the Utah Jazz in five games to advance to the second round. The Portland Trail Blazers knocked off the Oklahoma City Thunder in five games, while the Denver Nuggets beat the San Antonio Spurs in seven games.

In the Eastern Conference, the Milwaukee Bucks swept the Detroit Pistons in the first round, as did the Boston Celtics against the Indiana Pacers. The Toronto Raptors eliminated the Orlando Magic in five games, as did the Philadelphia 76ers against the Brooklyn Nets.
