Igor Kokoskov ‘Jimmer Is Coming’

PHOENIX, Ariz. – Following the Phoenix Suns 122-113 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday, head coach Igor Kokoskov is ready to give former BYU star Jimmer Fredette more playing time against the Utah Jazz on Wednesday.
Fredette signed with the Suns for their final nine games of the regular season. His second game with the Suns was against the Jazz in Salt Lake City on March 25. He played 14 minutes in the Suns 125-92 loss and played 14 minutes, scoring 6 points on 1-of-10 shooting from the field and 0-for-5 from downtown.
After the Suns win on Monday, Kokoskov said he plans to use Fredette more against Utah in Phoenix on Wednesday.
“We are just getting him [Fredette] ready for Utah,” he said. “It’s just a warm up. He has tomorrow [Tuesday] to work on his game so,Quin Snyder better be ready. Jimmer is coming. And I am serious, he is going to play more,” he added.

Fredette played six minutes in the win over the Cavaliers and scored 6 points and handed out 1 assist on 2-of-3 shooting from the field.
The Jazz and Suns will tip-off at 8 p.m. on Wednesday on AT&T SportsNet.
