Donovan Mitchell Puts On Show In New York

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. – Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell returned to his home town and put on a show in front of his friends and family in the first half as they Jazz held a 74-47 lead at the break.
Mitchell started the game by shooting 6-for-8 from the field and posted 12 points. He finished with 19 points in the first half on 8-for-13 from the field to go with his 4 assists and 1 steal. Mitchell was 2-of-5 from downtown.
He was putting on a show for his hometown with a really nice dunk, where he hesitated when driving to the basket and threw down a monstrous dunk.

This is Mitchell’s second game in his career playing at Madison Square Garden. Last season, Mitchell scored 19 points in 36 minutes on 8-for-17 shooting in the Jazz loss to the Knicks, 106-101.

The Knicks currently hold the worst record in the NBA with a 14-57 record. Utah is looking for their fifth straight win and are 41-29 on the season.
