SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – During the third quarter of the Utah Jazz game against the Brooklyn Nets, Rudy Gobert had a big putback dunk that erupted Vivint Smart Home Arena.
Ricky Rubio was dribbling the ball up the court on a fast break when he had to gain control of the dribble and tried to put up a shot while getting fouled. The officials didn’t blow their whistle and Rubio missed the shot, but Gobert corralled the miss in the air and slammed the ball into the rim with two hands.
That gave the Jazz a 67-47 lead with 7:42 left in the third quarter. Gobert scored his 18th point on that play.

The play before that, Donovan Mitchell was a little fancy with his dribbling as he was in the paint, went to the right side and threw off a Nets defender by dribbling the ball behind his back and through his legs before laying it up with the right hand.
