SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The experts at ESPN have released a list of the NBA’s best players under the age of 25. Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell has landed at No. 7 on the list.
The Jazz guard, at the age of 22, has quickly grabbed local and national attention for his play on the court. Last season, as a rookie, Mitchell came in second in the voting for the NBA’s Rookie of the Year award, behind Philadelphia’s Ben Simmons. The 76ers’ Australian playmaker was listed as the fifth player under 25.
The Milwaukee Bucks’ 24-year old superstar, Giannis Antetokounmpo, who many consider to be an MVP candidate this season, was listed as the top NBA player under 25.
In his second NBA season, Mitchell has increased his scoring output to 22.8 points per game while leading Utah to 33-26 record as of Feb. 27.
Mitchell and the Jazz will host on the LA Clippers Wednesday night at 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast on AT&T SportsNet.
