Van Noy Makes Big Sack In Super Bowl

ATLANTA, Ga. – Near the end of the first half of Super Bowl LIII, former BYU star and current New England Patriots linebacker came up with a sack on Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff.
On third down with a little less than two minutes to go, Van Noy brought down a scrambling Goff for a loss of 14 yards.

The play by Van Noy forced a punt by Los Angeles and led to a turnover on downs on New England’s possession.
On the season, Van Noy had 55 solo tackles, 3.5 sacks, a forced fumble and an interception.
At halftime, the Patriots led the Rams 3-0.
