Gobert Moves Past Kirilenko For 8th Most Franchise Rebounds

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – During the first quarter of the Jazz game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, center Rudy Gobert passed Andrei Kirilenko for eighth all-time on the Jazz rebounding list.
He collected his fourth rebound of the game and put his career total to 3,837 rebounds to pass Kirilenko. Gobert is 44 rebounds behind Thurl Bailey for seventh on the list. Rich Kelley is sixth, Greg Ostertag is fifth, Derrick Favors is fourth, John Stockton is third, Mark Eaton is second and Karl Malone is first with 14,601.
Gobert is averaging a career-best 13 rebounds per game this season and 10.3 over his six year career with the Jazz.
The previous two games, Gobert has racked up over 20 rebounds, becoming the first Jazzman to collect 20 rebounds or more in back-to-back games since Karl Malone in 1988. He has seven career games of 20 rebounds or more.
His 13 rebounds per game average is fifth in the NBA this season.
