As they dominated nearly every aspect of the game, the Jazz built an early 33-26 first quarter lead.
Things slowed down a bit in the second quarter, but Utah still held a 55-49 advantage going into the break.
The third quarter was really where the game was won as Utah held Portland to just 19 points in the quarter.
Ricky Rubio came alive in the third with 16 points after scoring just three points in the first half. He made all seven of his shot attempts, including two 3-pointers, in the period.

“I didn’t have a good first half and I was just trying to be aggressive and at the same time, trying to find of my teammates too. I got a couple easy ones in the beginning and got it rolling,” said Rubio after the game.
Kyle Korver iced the game in the fourth with eight points in the fourth as the Jazz cruised to their second-straight victory.
Things Are Looking Up
After beating the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday and Portland on Friday, Rubio was asked after the game whether the team is turning the corner after a disappointing start to the season.
“We’ve been turning the corner for a while now,” said Rubio. “We’ve been playing better, the results weren’t there but I think we’ve been playing better the last month. We just pick up from here and start winning.”
