Utahns Finish National Finals Rodeo With Strong Performances

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The 10th round of the National Finals Rodeo concluded Saturday night with 11 Utahns going for a world title.
Unfortunately, none of the Utah cowboys clinched a title, but several competed mightily on the final day.
Caleb Bennett from Tremonton, was ranked second in the world going into the finals. He suffered a spectacular dismount, but was OK afterwards. He finished sixth in the world in the bareback category. Kaycee Field from Spanish Fork and Mason Clements from Springville finished sixth and ninth respectively.
Milford’s Rusty Wright finished second in saddle bronc. His brother Ryder took fifth and their uncle Coburn Bradshaw finished fourth.
Also from Milford, Jake Wright, finished 11th in the saddle bronc.
In bull riding, Joe Frost of Randlett took home third place while Tyler Bingham of Honeyville finished in 11th place.
Rhen Richard of Roosevelt finished in 15th place in team roping.
