SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz have assigned forward Georges Niang and rookie guard Grayson Allen to their G League affiliate, the Salt Lake City Stars.

Allen was the Jazz’s first round pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. The 21st overall selection has played in 14 of the teams’ 24 games this season, averaging 4.6 points in 10.5 minutes per game.
Niang is in his third season with the team and has worked his way up from the G League ranks. He has appeared in 18 games this season with an average of 3.2 points in 7.4 minutes per game. Last season, he was chosen to the All-G League First Team.

The Stars will hit the floor to play the Rio Grande Valley Vipers Monday at 7 p.m. at Bruin Arena at the Salt Lake Community College Redwood Road campus.
