Ute Coach Whittingham Answers Questions On Twitter

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah head football coach Kyle Whittingham responded to questions on his official Twitter account, using the hashtag #AskCoachWhitt.
Questions on Monday ranged from the apparent muscle mass put on running back Zach Moss to what Whittingham expected to see in the Utes’ season opener against Weber State on Thursday.
The stoic coach even uttered – albeit through tweet – an uncharacteristic “LOL” at one point.
Zack has had a tremendous off season and positioned himself for a big year. He’s added 10lbs of muscle while maintaining his speed & quickness. We expect him to be a huge part of the offense this fall. https://t.co/q7lnNHISrX

Tre has worked hard ever since he joined our program. He has made a lot of progress in all areas of his game and is a guy that we have a lot of confidence in. In addition, he is a valuable special teams player for us. https://t.co/pQf58HoHvs

LOL! Coach Taylor is well aware of what Zack brings to the table as far as our offense goes. After gaining nearly 1200 yards last season, he will once again be a featured part of the offense. https://t.co/KuselVo4Ig

Francis has progressed well ever since joining our program earlier this month. He was a little rusty at first and it took a little bit of time to digest our scheme, but he is now up to speed and we expect him to be a major contributor to our success. https://t.co/5eDciUQT6E

Clean execution by the offense, great ball security, defense flying around the field, solid special teams, and our young guys stepping up and contributing. https://t.co/xPZNpI6R4q

Whittingham also may have helped out thousands of fans Thursday who needed to skip out of work early to make the Ute’s 6 p.m. kickoff time in the season opener against Weber State University.
Thought this might come in handy today…
