Micah Harper announced his commitment to BYU earlier this week. One of the pressing needs in BYU’s 2020 recruiting class is the cornerback position. Harper will enroll at BYU this summer and have an opportunity to compete right away for playing time. Coaches sold Harper on the idea of becoming BYU’s next Dayan Ghanwoloku, a swing defensive back who could play either cornerback at safety at the collegiate level.
While at Basha High School in Arizona, Harper played positions on both defense and offense, even a little bit of quarterback during his prep career.
