SALT LAKE CITY – The NHL released the full 2024-25 schedule on Tuesday and Utah Hockey Club fans now know what the team’s inaugural season looks like.
Utah will open its season against the Chicago Blackhawks in Delta Center on Tuesday, October 8.

Following the home opener, Utah will hit the road for a four-game trip. On that trip, the Anaheim Ducks, New York Islanders, and New York Rangers will host the league’s newest franchise for their home openers.
Utah HC will close out a busy 11-game month of October with five home matches in six games.
Notable matchups during that stretch include Boston on Saturday, October 19, and Colorado on Thursday, October 24.
Utah HC’s first game in November will be on the road against the Las Vegas Golden Knights on Saturday, November 2. After three more away games, Utah will return home to face Carolina, Vegas, and Washington.

The three-game home stand will lead into a stretch where Utah will play seven of nine games away from home.
In the week before Christmas, Utah HC will play three home games. After hosting the Avalanche on Friday, December 27, they will play four-straight road games before returning home to host the reigning Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers on Wednesday, January 8.
The game against Florida will be the first of seven straight at home.
The back half of Utah’s 2024-25 schedule is much more forgiving with fewer alternating home and away games.
The next 11 matches see three away games followed by four at home and then four more on the road.

Utah’s inaugural season will come to an end with five of the last 10 games being played at home.
Utah will play 11 back-to-backs in its first season.
There is a five-way tie for the longest road trip. Utah will play four straight games away from home once in October, twice in November, once around the new year, and once in February.
The longest home stand comes in early January when Utah will play seven-straight in Delta Center.
