Kyle Whittingham Earns AP Pac-12 Coach Of The Year, Devin Lloyd Also Honored

SALT LAKE CITY – The Associated Press announced that Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham has been named Pac-12 Coach of the Year and Devin Lloyd has earned Defensive Player of the Year..
This adds to the award that Whittingham received on Tuesday when the Pac-12 Conference named him Coach of the Year for the second time. Whittingham led the Utes to a 10-3 record and the program’s first ever Pac-12 Championship and trip to the Rose Bowl.
Lloyd became the first player in Utah football history to win Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year. He finished the regular season with 106 tackles, including 22 tackles for loss, which is second-most in the country.

Like the Pac-12 awards, USC wide receiver Drake London was named AP Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year and UCLA RB Zach Charbonnet earned Newcomer of the Year.
