Jul 10, 2024, 10:56 AM
LAS VEGAS – Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark announced during his day one address the addition of an “Alumni Council” in an effort to marry the “old school” with the “new school”.
“The Big 12 Conference is home to thousands of student-athlete alumni who have had great success on and off the field following their time on campus,” said Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark. “As we enter into a new chapter as a 16-team league, the insights and perspectives of the Big 12 Alumni Council will be an incredible resource.”
Each school has one male and one female former student-athlete representing the interests of each member institution for a total of 32 Alumni Council members.
