BOISE, Idaho – You know we’ve got a big BYU football game on our hands when hype videos are dropping. That’s what we have on our hands here in Idaho in the lead up to No. 9 BYU taking on No. 21 Boise State.
BYU Football Hype Video
Hype videos play a significant role in college football social media accounts to build up the excitement for a big game. Some have dubbed Friday night’s game against the Broncos as the biggest Cougar football game since 1984. A hype video is definitely warranted for a moment like this.

The video was dropped via the BYU Football Twitter account, and the caption read, “ready for this moment.”
Once the hype video starts, you immediately hear the voice of BYU head coach Kalani Sitake. In the video, Sitake says, “You came to this school, for this moment, right now … for this type of season … for each other; that’s what it’s going to come down to.”
This “type of season” has been a year that the BYU program has been craving since they made the jump from the Mountain West Conference to Football Independence. With the potential for a big season now here, BYU now tries to take down the winningest program in college football history (.7303 winning percentage) on their home field.
It’s a massive opportunity for Kalani Sitake and BYU. Win this game, the New Year’s Six becomes a likely destination, plus the conversation for the College Football Playoff could heat up.
Everything is there for the taking. Now let’s see if BYU can deliver.
