SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz will host the Orlando Magic in a rare matinee game at Delta Center on Saturday.
The Jazz are in the second game of a four-game homestand while the Magic are in Utah in the third game of a six-game road swing.

While the Jazz have lost eight straight games, the second-longest in the NBA, the Magic will travel to Utah as the more desperate team.
After opening the season with a stellar 17-9 record, the Magic are just 7-16 in their last 23 games.
Due to a litany of injuries, Orlando’s once-promising season is quickly washing away, and after dropping the first two games of their current road trip, a win over the lowly Jazz is a must.

After Thursday’s loss to the Portland Trail Blazers, the Magic fell into the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference and sit a game below .500 for the first time since November 12.
The Jazz meanwhile will look to snap their longest losing streak of the season, having dropped eight straight dating back to January 12.
With Thursday’s loss to the Timberwolves, the Jazz have lost 11 of 12 overall, with their lone win coming over the Brooklyn Nets in overtime on January 12.
