ORLANDO, Florida- The Utah Jazz finished up the second leg of their Florida back-to-back, taking down the Orlando Magic after beating the Miami Heat by 36 points last night.
Both teams were beat up coming into Sunday afternoon’s matchup with several key players missing from each lineup. The Jazz were missing Keyonte George, Jordan Clarkson, John Collins, and Lauri Markkanen and the Magic were without Paulo Banchero, Gary Harris, Franz and Moritz Wagner, and Jalen Suggs.
Utah continued their good form in the first quarter, but Orlando ended the frame with a three-point lead. Kyle Filipowski took advantage of his extended minutes with three consecutive buckets to open the game. He showed a variety of skills to get his six points with a post-up, dribble drive, and screen slip.

The Jazz wiped away the deficit in a low-scoring second quarter to tie the two teams up at 43 going into the halftime break.
Utah then opened the second half by outscoring the Magic 28-19 in the third quarter, putting distance between them and Orlando. Collin Sexton led the way with 10 points in the quarter. They also put on a defensive clinic, holding Orlando to only 35% shooting in the quarter.
In the fourth, the Jazz put the game in cruise control in the fourth to sweep the Florida trip with wins over Miami and Orlando on consecutive nights.
