SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz big man Rudy Gobert blocked the Clippers’ potential game-tying three-pointer to seal the Game 1 win.
Rudy Gobert and the Jazz knocked off the Los Angeles Clippers 112-109 to steal Game 1 and a 1-0 series lead in the Western Conference Semifinals.
Paul George hit a three-pointer to put the Clippers within three points with 38 seconds left. Donovan Mitchell missed a fadeaway deep two and LA got the rebound. Kawhi Leonard had the ball on the angle before Joe Ingles closed out on him. Leonard passed the ball over to Marcus Morris in the corner when Rudy Gobert closed out on him.
