Reports: Donovan Mitchell To Participate In NBA 2K Tournament With Other Stars

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz star guard Donovan Mitchell is expected to participate in a NBA 2K tournament that will be broadcast on ESPN starting on Friday.
According to Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports, Mitchell is among the list of players that will play in a players only tournament.
The Boardroom on Twitter revealed the bracket with the 16 NBA players. They are seeded by their NBA 2K rating as well as their tenure in the league.
Donovan Mitchell is the No. 4 seed in the tournament and will face Washington Wizards forward Rui Hachimura.

The tournament will feature 16 players filled with NBA stars like Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant, four-time all-star DeMarcus Cousins and two-time all-star Andre Drummond, according to Haynes.

Also in the report, ESPN is expected to broadcast the tournament over the course of 10 days.
Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo was on the cover of NBA 2K19 with Los Angeles Lakers forward Anthony Davis on the cover of NBA 2K20.
The NBA was searching for something to help basketball fans catch some type of basketball action and this is a way for fans to get their hoops fix.
The league suspended play until further notice due to the coronavirus or COVID-19 pandemic. The President of the United States extended the social distancing guidelines through April 30 which means the NBA will not be able to resume until at least May 1 at the earliest.
