SALT LAKE CITY – The New York Knicks bench erupted in laughter after veteran guard Jordan Clarkson fouled out during the team’s dominant 134–98 win on Sunday.

Clarkson put together a strong performance, recording 11 points, three assists, two rebounds, and two steals in just 18 minutes of action.

But after picking up his sixth foul, frustration got the best of him. As he walked toward the bench, Clarkson tossed his headband, ripped a stat sheet from teammate Josh Hart’s hands, and crumpled it up on the sideline.

Hart, who began his NBA career alongside Clarkson with the Los Angeles Lakers, tried to hide his laughter behind a towel as Clarkson vented. Mikal Bridges, seated next to Hart during the fourth quarter, also joined in the laughter at Clarkson’s expense.

After the game, Clarkson explained the lighthearted exchange.

“He always on me,” Clarkson said. “He made me laugh. I was kind of upset, but he got me right.”

With the win, the Knicks improved to 6–3 on the season.

Jordan Clarkson Settling Into Knicks Rotation

Nine games into his Knicks stint, Clarkson has carved out a steady role in the team’s rotation. Although he’s averaging a career-low 16 minutes per game, he’s still contributing with 9.1 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per outing.

Clarkson’s shooting numbers remain efficient—he’s hitting 44 percent from the field, 35 percent from beyond the arc, and a career-best 90 percent from the free-throw line.

After a slow start in his first three games, he’s found his rhythm, converting 54 percent of his shots and 41 percent of his three-point attempts over the last six contests.

During his six-year tenure with the Utah Jazz, Clarkson averaged 17.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 3.3 assists across 342 games, earning a reputation as one of the league’s most reliable scorers off the bench.
