Donovan Mitchell Throws Down Nasty Dunk On Mavericks

SALT LAKE CITY – Donovan Mitchell wanted to finish Christmas on a high note by throwing down an incredible dunk against the Dallas Mavericks.
During the Utah Jazz impressive second quarter against the Mavericks, Mitchell made sure his impact was felt with a nasty two-handed dunk.
The All-Star guard split a Mavericks double team, gathered the ball, and gathered to cock the ball and throw it down off two feet.

Michell’s dunk came amid a terrific run from the Jazz in the second quarter.
After falling behind by 16 in the first quarter against the Mavericks, the Jazz outscored Dallas 40-29 in the second frame to take a 65-63 lead at the break.
Mitchell was the game’s leading scorer at halftime scoring 21 points on an efficient 6-14 shooting including 9-9 from the free-throw line.
The Jazz were playing in the late game of the NBA’s annual Christmas showcase, tipping off at 8:30 pm MT, their latest tip-off of the season.
Mitchell is averaging 25.1 points, 5.1 assists, and 3.8 rebounds while shooting a career-high 45 percent from the floor this season for the Jazz.
