SALT LAKE CITY – New York Jets QB, former BYU star Zach Wilson, goes through his first training camp as an NFL player this month.
Wilson, who signed his fully guaranteed $35 million contract last week, would love to have a chance at buying a Super Bowl ring or two in his career. But he knows he can’t purchase a Super Bowl. It has to be won on the field.

The man who knows that better anyone is defending World Champion and seven-time Super Bowl champ Tom Brady.
There probably isn’t much in common between Wilson and Brady at the moment, but the two both share the same birthday on August 3. On Tuesday, each quarterback turned a year older and the age gap is pretty shocking.
Zach Wilson and Tom Brady share a birthday
Wilson, fresh off a dazzling three-year career at BYU, turned 22 years old. Meanwhile, the man many refer to as the “G.O.A.T.” Tom Brady turns 44.
“I mean, it’s pretty dang cool. I’d say one of the craziest parts is that I think I was one when he was in his first season in the NFL,” said Wilson after practice on Tuesday.
A big QB birthday today: Jets’ QB Zach Wilson turns 22. Tom Brady also turns 44, as many are aware, but that makes him exactly double the age of Wilson while looking practically the same age as him. pic.twitter.com/mrAzkJZEzI

Jets fans know all too well the rise of Tom Brady and the greatness he has displayed in his career. Brady broke the hearts of Jets fans many times when he was in the AFC East, with the New England Patriots posting a 29-7 record as a starter against the Jets.

“Brady, in my opinion, is the greatest of all time. I don’t think you can argue that. Wherever he’s at, they’re winning,” Wilson said. “I’ve always been an (Aaron) Rodgers guy because of the flashiness. But the important thing in the game is winning. It’s a team sport and it’s all about winning. It’s not how cool a throw looks or anything like that. He’s definitely been a favorite to watch growing up and I think that’s because of the way he does it, because of the system and the way he approaches off-season training.”
The 22-year-old Wilson will have his first shot to go up against the 44-year-old Brady on January 2nd in Week 17 in East Rutherford.
