Reports: Former Utah RB Devontae Booker To Sign One-Year Deal With Raiders

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former Utah running back Devontae Booker will sign a one-year deal with the Las Vegas Raiders.
Booker has found a new home and a fresh start with the Raiders.
After a successful career at the University of Utah, Booker was taken by the Broncos in the fourth round, 136th overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Sacramento TV reporter Sean Cunningham first reported the Booker signing with Las Vegas. Denver Broncos insider Mike Klis has confirmed the report.

Booker was the starting running back as a rookie for six games and racked up 612 yards and 4 touchdowns on the ground. The former Ute was moved to a backup role in his second season with the Broncos in 2017 and was limited to 79 carries for 299 yards and one touchdown in 13 games played. In 2018, he played appeared in all 16 games but his carries went down to 34 for 183 yards and one score.
Last season, Booker was the third-string running back for the Broncos and ran the ball twice for nine yards. Booker finished his tenure with Denver with 289 carries for 1,103 yards and six touchdowns.
