Jets CB Javelin Guidry Forces Pair Of Fumbles During Loss To Raiders

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former Utah defensive back and current New York Jets cornerback Javelin Guidry forced two fumbles during a loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Jets hosted the Raiders at MetLife Stadium on Sunday, December 6.
With 8:56 remaining in the game, Raiders quarterback Derek Carr completed a pass to Henry Ruggs III before Guidry broke the ball free. New York recovered the fumble.

With 3:10 to go, Guidry punched the ball loose again but it was recovered by Las Vegas.
The Raiders came back from down four to beat the Jets on a 46-yard touchdown pass with five seconds left.

Las Vegas won 31-28.
With the loss, New York fell to 0-12 on the season.

Guidry finished the game with six total tackles, four solo tackles, and two forced fumbles.
This season, the former Utah standout has nine total tackles, six solo tackles, and three forced fumbles in eight games.
New York’s next game is against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, December 13 at 2:05 p.m. (MDT). The game will broadcast on CBS.
