First shot on Connor Ingram in an #NHL game in nearly 2 months and he vacuums it right up. #UtahHC

Ingram has looked great so far against the Islanders.
Confident, composed, assertive, and made six saves through 9 minutes of play.#UtahHC

First big save of the night by Ingram.
Defensemen were all beaten but he remained composed and even had his glove ready in case Tsyplakov tried to elevate the puck.pic.twitter.com/Dao7iJP2aD

Barrett Hayton to the box for tripping.
Islanders back to the power play late in the first period.

Bit of a sluggish first period for Utah but the score remains tied as Connor Ingram is simply locked in between the pipes.
14 saves in the first 20 minutes.
Utah needs to create some more offense over the next 40 minutes. https://t.co/nRE0JKCqmF

Utah is dominating this second period.
They're way more aggressive, are generating sustained offensive possessions, have been the more physical team and outshot NY 8-3.#UtahHC

Keller off the post on a one-timer.
Pipes might get a contract soon with how many times they've stopped Utah the last 2 nights.

Penalty against Dobson of the Islanders.
Keller baited him into that one. The two were exchanging pleasantries in front of the net, started pushing and then Dobson clocked Keller in the head.
Utah to the power play.

4 on 4 hockey for 2 minutes after some theatrics in front of the Islanders net.
Hayton took a stick to the face and then everybody got involved.
Hayton will sit for Utah. Pelech will sit for New York.

Islanders have come out with a lot of energy to start this third period.
Utah needs a big PK to halt the momentum. https://t.co/FHDfNOlZWA

Nick DeSimone has been really solid for #UtahHC over the last 2 nights.
He's not flashy but he's been really strong, reliable, and composed on the blue line. Utah may have something here after claiming him off waivers last week.
He's looked good.
— Cole Bagley (@BagleyKSLsports) January 12, 2025
Connor Ingram just got absolutely plowed into the net.
Anders Lee will serve 2 minutes for interference.
Absolutely massive power play for Utah. Need to reclaim the momentum here late in the third.
— Cole Bagley (@BagleyKSLsports) January 12, 2025
Grade A chance for Cooley on a one-timer from the right face-off circle but it goes wide.
He's going to want that one back.
Islanders back to full strength.
4 minutes to go. Game is still tied 1-1.
— Cole Bagley (@BagleyKSLsports) January 12, 2025
You could feel this one coming. It's mostly been one way traffic for New York the whole period.
Ingram to the bench. Extra attacker on.
20 seconds left in regulation. Utah needs a miracle to force OT. https://t.co/qGnOlQoopH
