SALT LAKE CITY—Utah Hockey Club adds reinforcements during a tough stretch, recalling Connor Ingram from the Tucson Roadrunners. Ingram has been injured since a November 18 loss to the Washington Capitols.
Utah Hockey Club announced the roster move on Thursday, January 9.

The fourth-year net-minder went 6-4-3 in 13 early-season starts. Ingram allowed 3.61 goals against with a .871 save percentage.
Ingram made one appearance with Tucson, showing he was fully healthy. He stopped 29 of the 30 shots, leading the Roadrunners to a 4-1 win over Coachella Valley.

Karel Vejmelka has stepped up in Ingram’s absence. Despite a 9-11-3 record in net, ‘Veggie’ has been a top-ten NHL goalie since Ingram went down. Vejmelka allows 2.44 goals per game, which is tenth in the league. His .915 save percentage is ninth in the NHL.
Jaxson Stauber was optioned to Tucson to make room on the roster for Ingram. Stauber went 2-1-1 in Ingram’s absence.
