SALT LAKE CITY – Abbie Stockard, the girlfriend of Utah Jazz center Walker Kessler has been named Miss America 2025.
Stockard, who was crowned Miss Alabama, earned the award Sunday night after the Jazz beat the Orlando Magic.

Stockard was named one of the 11 finalists for the Miss America crown on Friday before officially taking home the award on Sunday.
According to Alabama.com, Stockard, 22, is planning on becoming a nurse anesthetist specializing in pediatrics.

Coincidentally, Stockard was named Miss America in Orlando where the Jazz were playing Sunday night against the Magic.
The award comes with $50,000 in scholarship money and the title of Miss America for the Year.
Stockard beat out Miss Texas Annette Addo-Yobo who took home first runner-up.
Though relatively quiet, Kessler has shared photos of Stockard on his social media pages.

Walker Kessler’s Resurgent Year With Jazz
It’s been a banner year for Kessler who has returned to form after a difficult sophomore campaign.
Kessler was averaging 10.4 points, 11.1 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks in his third season as a full-time starter for the Jazz.
The center was originally selected by the Memphis Grizzlies with the 22nd overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft.
Kessler was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves on draft night, before being moved to the Jazz in the Rudy Gobert blockbuster trade in 2022.
