Kalani Sitake Leads BYU Band In Postgame Fight Song

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Following BYU’s all-phases victory over Colorado in the Alamo Bowl, Kalani Sitake led the Cougars in singing the postgame fight song.

No. 17 BYU ends the 2024 campaign in the Valero Alamo Bowl against Heisman Trophy-winner Travis Hunter and the No. 23 Colorado Buffaloes.

“We’ll just pretend, you guys make me look good, okay,” Sitake said from a step ladder before leading the performance.

Sitake, the 14th head coach in BYU history, just completed his ninth season at the helm, leading the Cougars to the 13th 11-victory season in program history. The LaVell Edwards protege will enter his 25th season coaching with BYU in 2025.

Sitake will be inducted into the Polynesian College Football Hall of Fame on January 18, 2025.
