BYU Special Teams Strikes Again, Parker Kingston Takes Punt To The House

SAN ANTONIO, Texas –Â It’s been all BYU in the first half after Parker Kingston added his second punt return touchdown of the year to give the Cougars a 17-0 lead.
No. 17 BYU ends the 2024 campaign in the Valero Alamo Bowl against Heisman Trophy-winner Travis Hunter and the No. 23 Colorado Buffaloes.

After forcing a Colorado punt from deep in their side of the field, BYU’s blockers paved the way for Kingston. The redshirt sophomore sprinted untouched down the middle of the field for the Cougar’s second TD of the night.
Kingston’s first punt return came in a thrilling BYU win over Kansas State early in the season at LES.
BYU has controlled Alamo Bowl action in every facet. Despite two interceptions, BYU has outgained Colorado 127 yards to 61. BYU is three-of-five on third downs, while the Buffaloes have converted one of their six opportunities. The Cougar defense has three sacks.
