SAN ANTONIO – We’re hours away from BYU football kicking off against Colorado in the 2024 Alamo Bowl.
It’s been an eventful week in Alamo City as the two Big 12 programs gear up for what has been deemed the best non-College Football Playoff bowl game this year.
Hours before kickoff against Colorado, the BYU football social media team dropped a hype video with the caption, “ONE LAST RIDE COUGAR NATION.”

Many of the players featured in the hype video for Saturday’s Alamo Bowl include BYU’s senior class. Players such as offensive lineman Connor Pay and defensive lineman Tyler Batty will play their last game in a BYU football uniform.
No. 17 BYU is looking to close the 2024 season with an 11th win. The Cougars enter the Alamo Bowl with an overall record of 10-2.
If they earn an 11th victory, it would be the second time in the Kalani Sitake era that BYU has reached 11 wins in a season. The last time it happened was in 2020.
