SALT LAKE CITY – With Green Bay’s win on Monday Night, the 16th week of the 2024 NFL season is officially wrapped up. Players with local ties made their mark all over the league in week 16.
Every local NFL player who recorded a stat, with the top performances highlighted, or helped their team pick up a win can be found in our weekly roundup.
Week 17 of the 2024 NFL season kicks off on Christmas Day with a two-game slate on Netflix.

NFL Locals’ Week 16: Top Performances, All Stats, And More
Top Local NFL Performances
- On Thursday Night Football, former Utah WR Devaughn Vele caught two passes for 21 yards and also pulled down the second receiving touchdown of his career.
- Bingham High star Dalton Schultz pulled in five receptions for 45 yards and a touchdown against the Chiefs on Saturday.
- Former BYU LB Kyle Van Noy was all over the field for the Ravens on Saturday. He posted five total tackles (two solo), 1.5 sacks, one tackle for loss, three QB hits, and a fumble recovery.
- Judge Memorial standout Kaden Elliss led the Falcons defense in tackles with seven (two solo). He also had one sack, one tackle for loss, and two QB hits.
- Former Utah State LB Bobby Wagner had nine total tackles (eight solo), one pass breakup, and one QB hit in a win over the Eagles.
- Former Utah safety Cole Bishop had a career night against the Patriots, posting a season-high in tackles with eight (six solo) and one tackle for loss.
- Former Weber State DB Taron Johnson had three tackles (one solo) and a fumble recovery for a touchdown in week 16.
- Two former Cougars on the Packers, safety Zayne Anderson and RB Chris Brooks, reached some career milestones on Monday Night. Brooks scored his first career touchdown and Anderson grabbed his first career interception.
- Former Utah State QB Jordan Love completed 16 of 28 passes for 182 yards and a touchdown in the Packers’ playoff-clinching win.

In The Statsheet
- Two former Utes on the Broncos’ defense, LB Cody Barton and DE Jonah Elliss, got in the stat sheet on TNF. Barton posted seven total tackles (five solo) and one tackle for loss. Elliss had three total tackles (two solo) and a TFL of his own.
- East High standout Jaylen Warren gained 92 scrimmage yards on 12 carries and five receptions against the Ravens on Saturday.
- Former BYU RB Tyler Allgeier took one reception and 11 carries for 31 yards against the Giants.
- Former Utah CB Clark Phillips III had one pass break up against New York.
- Former Utah Ute Sione Vaki did work on special teams and offense for the Lions in week 16. He returned two kicks for 55 yards and also pulled down two receptions for 20 yards.
- Former Utah CB Jaylon Johnson recorded three total tackles (two solo) against Detroit.
- Bingham High star Jay Tufele posted one tackle and one QB hit in a win over the Browns.
- Former Utah LB Mohamoud Diabate had six total tackles (four solo) on Sunday morning.
- Two former Utes on the Colts, safety Julian Blackmon and kicker Matt Gay, helped Indianapolis escape with a win over the Titans. Blackmon had three solo tackles. Gay went 1/2 on field goals and 5/5 on extra points.
- Former BYU WR Puka Nacua had eight receptions for 56 yards in a win over the Jets.
- Former BYU DT Khyiris Tonga posted three total tackles (one solo) against Carolina.
- Former BYU LB Sione Takitaki recorded two total tackles (one solo) against the Bills.
- Former Utah TE Dalton Kincaid had four catches for 15 yards in Buffalo’s win over the Patriots.
- Former Utah LB Devin Lloyd had seven total tackles (five solo) in a loss to the Raiders.
- On Sunday Night Football, former Utah State LB Nick Vigil posted 10 total tackles (five solo).
- Former BYU RB Jamaal Williams took three carries for eight yards on Monday Night.

Secured The Win
- Two former BYU Cougars on the Chiefs, OL Kingsley Suamataia and HC Andy Reid, helped Kansas City improve to 14-1 with a win over the Texans on Saturday.
- Desert Hills standout Penei Sewell and the Lions allowed just one sack in a 34-17 win over Chicago.
- Former BYU OL Brady Christensen and the Panthers picked up their fourth win of the season in week 16.
- Two former Utah High School standouts, Corner Canyon’s Jackson Powers-Johnson and Herriman’s Andre James, helped the Raiders defeat the Jaguars on Sunday afternoon.
- Former BYU LB Fred Warner posted 11 total tackles (six solo) in San Francisco’s week 16 loss to the Dolphins.
